Some ideas to enjoy ukemi training: - Roll over a jo or bokken, add a gap and a second weapon.
- Roll with a jo or bokken. (Vary the hand.)
- Roll with arms in lap.
- Roll with arms folded.
- Roll over crouching students. (Add up to 5 to make it fun.)
- Roll on one side 10 times, turning around 180deg each time. See if you can stand up afterwards!
- Add obstacles.
- Toss a ball and roll with it.
