Aikido Kenkyukai (Aikikai)

Following the teaching of the late Yamaguchi Sensei and today Takeda sensei who visits Australia regularly. The Aikido Kenkyukai (Kenkyukai means research) are a group of dojo in Australia, largely without centralised structure. They are recognised by hombu aikikai

I had the pleasure of taking a class from a dojo in Canberra some years back and enjoyed the way uke is involved in the technique and the focus on individual expression.
