Wednesday night Aikido

Hi everyone, Well after a bit of hiatus from teaching its well and truly time to stop ronining around and get back to something more regular. I found a nice hall close to home with permanent mats and a time slot that has dinner out the way and the littlies to bed so if you are looking for an extra nights practice you are welcome to come to come on Wednesday nights for keiko. The Dojo

The dojo features permanent mats on a wooden floor with a mat area of approximately 75m2 (sneak peak)

Just 10mins from the CBD  at the Mt. Gravatt Scout hall Scout Hall, 1593 Logan Rd., Mt. Gravatt (opposite the Mt. Gravatt Show Grounds)

I plan to continue on my exploration of ikkyo starting from the sword and progressing through kontai to kutai.  And then working through progressing aikido from the mechanical techniques, reactive based training (kata) to active where nage is controlling uke by making them react. In this situation nage is no longer the hapless victim set upon by four attackers (4 on 1) but instead mentally becomes 1 on 4
