10 Ukemi Exercises and Games

Some ideas to enjoy ukemi training:
Roll over a jo or bokken, add a gap and a second weapon.
Roll with a jo or bokken. (Vary the hand.)
Roll with arms in lap.
Roll with arms folded.
Roll over crouching students. (Add up to 5 to make it fun.)
Roll on one side 10 times, turning around 180deg each time. See if you can stand up afterwards!
Add obstacles.
Toss a ball and roll with it.
