Griffith University

This is the University I currently work at, actually I started here as an undergraduate and tried to run away a few times but always came back. Griffith University is Brisbane's newest University (70's) and was founded on the idea of an alternative approach. So historically many of the degrees here are not main stream - though have become so. Some of the programmes i have worked with have been pretty novel to begin with. This included the microelectronics programme and more recently my passion Sports Engineering. Research in this area has allowed me to further my research into aikido through the use of technology, to help me understand some of the eastern concepts (see Aikiphysics) and biomechanics. More recently to l have enjoyed learning about how we learn and developing training aids for this. I used to run Griffith Aikido for a long time.
